About Me
Hi, I'm Stacy Armijo. Nice to meet you.
My professional journey began in the field of communications and I'm grateful because I've learned the best ideas & leaders don't always come with the best words. For 20+ years, I've worked to bridge that gap, equipping organizations and individuals with skills, messages and approaches to grow their influence. Today, I'm Chief Experience Officer with Amplify Credit Union, a $3B community financial institution based in Austin, Texas. It's my privilege to use those skills to bring together the teams responsible for crafting Amplify's promise to its customers, employees and community with those who deliver it.
But like everyone, I'm more than my day job or professional background. I'm a Mom to two boys, ages 13 and 9, and an avid community volunteer, serving local and national organizations. Those experiences have been the most formative for me in shaping my leadership skills and establishing relationships that are among my most treasured, personally and professionally.
I also love life, and commit to making the most of it, which was reinforced for me when I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 40 (gratefully now fully and successfully treated). While life is not all fun all the time, it should be more often than it's not, and I work to make that happen. One way is by enjoying my beloved city of Austin and sharing my enthusiasm for cocktails with others. May we all live life on purpose, and thank you for letting me share a little of mine with you.
